MORELS A French Steakhouse & Bistro Location: Palazzo Hotel & Casino
Extraordinary Experience in Fine Dining
Our experience was excellent from entering the door until leaving. Beginning with the Bistro and Bar, as you enter. Long couches and chairs await you as you wish. You can also have a drink on bar stools. The Menu was superb.
Many items to choose from. Staff extremely helpful with the perfect choices. The staff is so well trained that you want for nothing. An empty glass or empty plate is unheard of here. This was done exceptionally well, non intrusive and very efficient. They were at your beckon call. We noticed other diners had the same experience with smiles and gratitude on their faces.
The Onion Soup was the best this side of Paris. Heavenly. Salads are for your choosing including a house special that was superb. The most unique tastes and presentation.
The Sommelier was extremely helpful in finding a particular wine per my request, Schluss Gubelsburger Gruner Vetliner 2006 Kamptal. This wine accomplishes what no other white can, it is a perfect balance for any type of Entree'.
Our Main course was beyond belief; flavor, presentation and outstanding service. The Tenderloin of beef was done to perfection, and my potatoes au gratin were the best I've ever had. Bill's New York Steak was perfection per his
standards. He requested mushrooms, not on the menu and they were
delivered hot and most delicious. Now that's service above and beyond.
The only thing we found that could have been better was a larger variety of side items. For dessert, Chef Eric Bauer presented an epicurean delight like no other. Including the various Creme Rule's were delicious. The entire restaurant was full and waiting room only. This is going to be a new hot spot in town for sure. Patio seating will be available in good weather.
I would go back, in a heart beat and invite my friends to this wonderful restaurant. I have informed many of them already to try this delightful dinning experience. Morels service and food are out of this world.
