SUSHI ROKU AND BOA STEAKHOUSE WIN Restaurants win two prominent honors by AIA Nevada
LAS VEGAS — Sushi Roku and BOA Steakhouse celebrate the New Year with new accolades by garnering two Citations in the Interior Environment category by the AIA Nevada, the state chapter of The American Institute of Architects. With both restaurants featuring cutting-edge design by YWS Architects, the AIA Nevada Excellence in Design Awards Program recognizes exceptional architectural excellence throughout the state.
Sushi Roku embodies a minimalist style with bamboo, chiseled stone and dark wood décor creating an environment both refreshing and tantalizing to the senses. Luxurious interior with wood flooring, a leather bar top, steel bamboo accents and walls of concrete wood blocks give the restaurant its edgy sense of style. At Sushi Roku, tranquility and style unite to create an environment both refreshing and unique with large windows offering extraordinary sights of the lights from Las Vegas Boulevard.
BOA Steakhouse evokes a contemporary, modern feel. The restaurant offers a second-story terrace overlooking the neon glow from the Strip. Beautiful two-way frosted glass, grey, slate toned walls, an 800-year-old driftwood centerpiece and stainless steel décor all showcase its modern design.
BOA Steakhouse has an award-winning beverage program and was the recipient of “Best Cocktails” at the 2006 and 2007 Epicurean Awards presented by Las Vegas Life magazine. In 2006, the restaurant earned “Best New Restaurant on the Strip” at the Epicurean Awards. Sushi Roku was named “Best Japanese” at the 2007 Epicurean Awards.
